This introductory module covers the essentials of Cardiac MRI and is designed to give you a solid foundation for your future CMRI journey, wherever you are in the world.

Our Syllabus

Physics Level 1: Physics and clinical use of the main cardiac MRI sequences

Safety: Risks, artefacts, and contrast agent considerations

Exam Preparation: Patient preparation, ECG sticker placement, use of the shim box, and frequency artefact management

Planning Level 1: Left-side guideline-based planning and adaptation to patient-specific anatomy

Late Gadolinium Enhancement Golden Egg Level 1: Clinical use of early and late gadolinium enhancement, selecting the correct inversion time, and an introduction to scar imaging

Parametric Mapping: Physics, clinical use, and image analysis of these sequences

Flows: Physics, VENC, and left heart flow planning
